Description
The Peavey MAX 110 is the kind of amp you grab when you need honest low-end tone without the back strain of a full stack. Packed into a space-saving cabinet, this 100-watt combo runs into 8 ohms and drives a heavy-duty 10 inch woofer housed in a tuned, ported enclosure — giving you more bottom end than you’d expect from something this size.
Under the hood, Peavey’s patented TransTube circuitry gives your pre-gain a musical boost, so you can push into overdrive territory when a song calls for grit, or keep things clean for straight-ahead gigging. The 3-band EQ with Mid-shift control lets you carve your tone quickly, whether you’re scooping mids for a slap-heavy set or pushing them forward to cut through a busy mix. Peavey also built in a psycho-acoustic low-end enhancement circuit — a clever bit of engineering that thickens your low end without overworking the speaker, protecting your gear while you dig in.
DDT speaker protection is on watch the whole time, so you can play with confidence at rehearsal volume or gig volume without babysitting your amp. A built-in chromatic tuner keeps you in pitch between songs, and the 1/8″ aux input means you can plug in a phone or player to practice along, while the 1/8″ phones output lets you work out parts quietly at home.
