The 3-piece maple neck is carved in a thin ‘C’ profile that stays comfortable through long sets, topped with a rosewood fretboard, 24 X-Jumbo frets, and platinum bat inlays. A 16″ radius and 1.496″ Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut keep the feel modern and slinky, while the 2-way truss rod means setup adjustments are quick when the seasons change.
Tonally, the pair of EMG 35HZ active pickups deliver the aggressive, cutting punch this series is known for — think tight lows with enough bite to sit in a dense mix. Master volume, blend, and 2-band active EQ controls give you real shaping power on the fly, run off a 9-volt housed in a clip-in battery compartment for easy swaps between sets.
