Schecter built this bass on a 35″ scale specifically to keep that low B tight and defined instead of flabby, and the mahogany body with flamed maple top gives it a growl in the mids that cuts through a live mix without needing to fight the guitars.
Diamond Active pickups paired with an active 2-band EQ mean you’ve got real tonal range on tap – scoop it out for a slap-heavy set, or push the mids and lows for pick-driven rock without reaching for a pedal. The 6-bolt neck joint locks the mahogany body to the maple neck solid, so sustain and low-end transfer stay consistent up and down the 24-fret rosewood board.
Multi-ply binding and dot inlays keep the look clean rather than flashy, letting the Black Cherry finish over that flame maple top do the talking. Black chrome hardware, Schecter’s own tuners, and the Diamond bass bridge round it out with gig-ready reliability rather than boutique fuss.
