Description
The Stiletto Custom-4 wears the same silhouette as Schecter’s Deluxe line, but there’s a different animal wired up inside. Underneath that Vampyre Red Satin finish sits a mahogany body topped with figured maple, paired with a 6-bolt, 34″ scale neck built from multi-laminate maple and walnut. It’s a construction choice aimed at stability and a tight, focused low end that holds up in the mix.
The rosewood fretboard carries 24 jumbo frets with offset dot inlays, and thanks to Schecter’s Ultra Access neck joint, those upper frets are actually reachable instead of just decorative. Whether you’re walking a line or reaching for a solo, the neck gets out of your way.
Tone comes from a set of EMG HZ pickups, which split the difference between old-school passive warmth and the clarity of active electronics. Run through the active 2-band EQ with selectable treble frequencies, you get 12dB of bass and treble cut/boost plus a blend control, so you can dial in everything from thumping fingerstyle warmth to a bright, cutting slap tone.
Black hardware, an S-Tek bridge, and Schecter’s own tuners round out the build, keeping tuning stable and the look cohesive under stage lights.
