Part of Bartolini’s Classic Bass (CB) series, this passive single-coil pickup keeps the familiar split-coil punch you expect from a Precision but opens up the frequency range so the low end hits harder and the low-mids fill out with more body. Top-end clarity gets a boost too — you’ll hear more air and definition without losing that thick, woody fundamental that makes a P-Bass a P-Bass.
Each half of the pickup pair overlaps by 3/4″ (19mm), preserving the string-to-string balance and output consistency players rely on for both fingerstyle grooves and pick attack. The coils are epoxy-cast, which cuts down on unwanted microphonics and feedback — a real plus for anyone running higher stage volumes or digging in hard live.
This is a direct-fit replacement for standard-shape Precision Bass pickups, no routing or modification needed.
