The Bartolini HR4.6AP/918 harness lets you have both without touching a soldering iron on install day, since it comes fully pre-wired and ready to drop into your control cavity.
At the heart of it is Bartolini’s 3-band preamp, wired into a control layout built for real-world playing: a Volume knob with a push-pull Active/Passive switch, a Blend pot, a stacked Treble/Bass knob, and a Mid knob with its own push-pull for switching between two frequency centers. That’s a lot of tonal ground covered from four knobs, whether you’re carving out room for a mix or just want to fatten your low mids on the fly between songs.
Runs on 9V or 18V, and the kit includes what you need to go either route:
