Description
This is a Precision Bass built the way P players actually use one — with a bridge-position Jazz pickup added in so you’re never stuck with just one flavor. The alder body and maple neck give you that familiar Fender snap and sustain, while the Yosemite split-coil P pickup handles the fundamental low-end weight that makes a P bass a P bass. Blend in the Yosemite single-coil J pickup at the bridge and you pick up extra edge and definition for picking, slap, or cutting through a busy mix.
The Greasebucket tone circuit is the sleeper feature here: rolling back the tone knob shaves off highs without piling on extra bass, so you keep punch and clarity even when you dial things back — no mud, no flub on stage.
Neck-wise, it’s a Modern C profile with a 9.5″ radius and 20 medium-jumbo frets, built for fast, comfortable playing whether you’re locked into a groove or running lines up the neck. A 1.625″ nut width keeps things familiar for anyone coming from a standard P or J. Tapered-shaft tuning machines and a 4-saddle vintage-style bridge with steel saddles round out the hardware, finished in nickel/chrome.
