Description
The Squier Affinity Precision Bass PJ takes the tone bassists have leaned on for decades and adds a little extra snarl. That classic split single-coil Precision pickup sits in the middle position handling the low-mid punch, while a single-coil Jazz Bass pickup in the bridge brings top-end growl when you dig in. Each pickup gets its own volume knob plus a shared master tone, so you can blend P warmth with J clarity right on the fly — no switching required, just twist and go.
Built on an alder body finished in eye-catching Race Red with a 3-ply black pickguard, this bass pairs comfort with stage presence. The maple neck wears a Modern “C” profile with a 34″ scale and 9.5″ radius fingerboard dressed in pearloid dot inlays, giving you 20 medium jumbo frets to work up and down without a fight. A synthetic bone nut and 4-bolt neck plate keep things stable, while open-gear tuning machines and a 4-saddle standard bridge handle your tuning and intonation duties.
