The Microtubes 900 v2 is the head for bassists who want their tone to do the talking — whether that’s a deep, clean foundation or the signature Darkglass growl that’s shown up on countless stages and records. At 900 watts, it’s got plenty of headroom to drive a big rig, but it packs into a footprint small enough to actually enjoy carrying to the gig.
At the heart of it is the Microtubes Engine, blending organic compression, harmonic saturation, and distortion that ranges from a mild tube-style push to full-on high-gain rage. Flip between B3K and VMT voicings to go aggressive and percussive or warm and mid-forward, then dial in the Blend knob to mix that dirt with your clean signal exactly to taste. A dedicated Tone control shapes the high harmonics of the distortion independently, so you can tame the top end even on bright cabs with tweeters.
On the clean side, a 6-band active EQ (Bass, four Mids, Treble) gives you real sculpting power, and onboard studio-grade compression keeps your dynamics tight without squashing your feel.
