Description
Bass players know the struggle of finding a DI that actually gets low end right, which is exactly why the engineers at LR Baggs built the Stadium for themselves first. What started as an in-house tool has become a road-ready weapon: all-discrete circuitry, top-shelf components, and a fidelity level that goes toe-to-toe with pricey studio DIs. Housed in an aluminum, steel, and ABS enclosure and hand-assembled in California, it’s made to survive van rides and bar gigs alike.
- Growl: Instead of blanket distortion, Growl saturates a focused low-frequency band, adding warmth and harmonic richness that tracks your dynamics without turning to mush. Hit the paired Drive button when you want it to open up into a full-range overdrive.
- Comp EQ: Three bands of touch-sensitive compression across low, mid, and high frequencies smooth out your tone while keeping your playing feel intact—dig in harder and it compresses more, ease off and it lets go.
- Attack: A targeted midrange EQ sweep that reshapes string attack, from warm and muted jazz tones to a punchier, clearer bite.
- Fat switch boosts 150Hz by +3dB or +6dB for extra low-end weight
- VU meter for dialing in gain with passive or active pickups
- All-discrete signal path with XLR and 1/4″ outputs
- Powered by 48V phantom, 9V battery, or 9V DC
- Pad switch (-10dBV or +4dBu) matches output to whatever PA you’re plugging into
- Ground lift switch kills ground-loop hum
- Includes custom LR Baggs carrying case
Whether you need transparent DI signal or a snarling low-end push, the Stadium gives you the controls to shape it on the fly, gig after gig.
