What makes MultiComp special is how it splits duty across bands so your low notes stay controlled while your higher fretwork keeps its snap. You get evened-out dynamics across the whole neck, or if you’d rather just add some grit and push more gain into your signal, it handles that job too.
The Blue Label update adds a front-panel Sensitivity control — essentially a threshold knob — so you can dial the compressor’s response to match your bass’s output or your own attack. There’s a center click marking the old factory default, so longtime MultiComp users have a familiar reference point when switching over.
For basses running hot 18V preamps, this version can run continuously on up to 18V DC, giving you the extra headroom those instruments demand without choking the signal.
On top of the sonic upgrades, EBS trimmed the footprint by 12% and shaved off weight, and the jacks are now recessed so pedals can sit closer together on a crowded board.
