Description
The Hellraiser Extreme-4 is Schecter’s answer for bassists who want dark aesthetics without sacrificing tone or playability. A mahogany body paired with a quilted maple top gives it weight and warmth, while the neck-thru construction with Ultra Access joint means the upper frets are actually usable live, not just for show. That arched top and MOP/black/white multi-ply binding give it real stage presence under the lights.
- Neck-thru mahogany body, quilted maple top, ebony fretboard with MOP Gothic Cross inlays
- 34″ scale, 24 X-Jumbo frets, 16″ radius, Thin ‘C’ neck profile for fast, low-effort playing
- Maple/walnut multi-ply neck with Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and 2-way adjustable truss rod
- EMG 35TW pickups in both positions, wired to an active 3-band EQ with push-pull volume controls for coil-splitting versatility
- Schecter Custom Bass bridge (string-thru or top-load), Grover tuners, black chrome hardware
The dual EMG 35TWs cover a lot of ground — full humbucker output for slap and heavy riffing, or split to single-coil for a leaner, more articulate voice, all shaped through the active EQ. This is a bass that rewards players who dig into dynamics, whether you’re locking in with a double kick or laying down something more melodic. Comes strung with Ernie Ball Super Long 4-string strings (.045-.105). Note: case is sold separately.
