The solid bar pole pieces run the full width of the string spacing, so you’re covered no matter how your six strings are laid out — no worrying about pole alignment when you switch basses or setups. Housed in EMG’s Extended Series shell, this pickup drops straight into any bass currently loaded with EMG Actives, making upgrades or swaps painless.
Under the hood, the 45HZ uses EMG’s 5-wire quik-connect system, giving you real flexibility for coil-splitting, series/parallel switching, or whatever wiring scheme your rig calls for. It’s fully shielded to keep stage noise down, and pairing it with string grounding will tighten things up even further for a dead-quiet signal at gig volume.
