It’s a pre-wired active EQ setup built specifically to work with passive EMG pickups, giving you real tonal control instead of just a volume knob and a prayer.
- Concentric bass/treble stack delivers roughly 12dB of cut and boost on each band, so you can go from thumpy and rounded to snappy and cutting without touching an amp.
- Master volume and blend control let you balance pickup output and overall level on the fly, mid-song if you need to.
- Every knob is center-detented, meaning you can feel your way back to a flat, neutral setting even in a dark venue without looking down at your bass.
- A dual dip-switch mounted right on the PC board lets you dial in one of four different high-frequency response curves, so you can match the top-end character to your rig and your ears.
Under the hood, this system runs on modern surface-mount tech, which keeps noise floor low and current draw light – your 9V battery will thank you.
