Description
Every bassist knows the sound — that crackle or dead spot mid-song because the output jack’s worked itself loose again. Recessed jack cavities and shallow nuts make this an awkward fix with normal tools, which is exactly why CruzTools built the GrooveTech Jack and Pot Wrench.
This compact four-inch tool packs three thin-wall sockets sized for the jacks and pots you’ll actually run into — 1/2″, 7/16″, and 12mm — covering the common hardware found on basses, guitars, amps, and other audio gear. The thin-wall design lets it reach down into tight cavities without chewing up the surrounding finish, so you can snug things back down without pulling the electronics out or heading to a tech.
Keep one in your gig bag. A quick tighten before soundcheck (add a dab of threadlocker if you want it to really stay put) can save you from a dead channel mid-set. It’s a small, cheap piece of insurance for a problem that always seems to show up at the worst time.
