Description
The Stiletto Extreme-5 gives low-end players real estate to work with — a 35″ scale that keeps the B string tight and defined instead of floppy, paired with 24 X-Jumbo frets for effortless upper-register reach. Under the See-Thru Black finish, a quilted maple top sits over a mahogany body on a bolt-on maple neck, so you get warmth and sustain without the extra weight some through-neck basses carry.
The Thin ‘C’ neck profile with a 16″ fretboard radius makes fast lines and chord work feel natural, while the creme 1-ply binding and pearloid/abalone Vector inlays dress the rosewood board up without getting flashy. A Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and 2-way adjustable truss rod keep setup stable across seasons and tunings.
Tone comes from a matched set of Schecter Diamond Bass pickups in the neck and bridge, run through master volume, blend, and an active 2-band EQ — enough control to dial in anything from a scooped slap tone to a thick, mid-forward growl for dense mixes. Hardware is finished in black chrome, from the Diamond Bass bridge to the Schecter tuners and knurled metal knobs, keeping the look cohesive with the see-through black body.
