Description
Your bass board carries a lot of low-frequency information, and dirty power is one of the fastest ways to lose it. The Pedal Power 2 Plus tackles the problem at the source by isolating every single output, not just some of them. That means no shared ground path between your compressor, envelope filter, and drive pedal — so you get rid of hum and the tone-sucking interaction that happens when units share a supply.
Inside is a custom-built toroidal transformer with separate balanced windings for each output, engineered to keep the magnetic field noise way down compared to a typical wall-wart transformer. It’s a linear supply, too — not a switching design — which matters for bass players running sensitive envelope filters, octave pedals, or vintage fuzz that can pick up switching artifacts as extra noise in the low end.
Eight outputs cover a wide range of pedal needs: four 9V/12V outputs (100mA each, switchable for standard PSA or Boss ACA-style 12V pedals), two high-current 9V outputs (250mA each, switchable regulated/unregulated for things like the Boss DD-20 or Line 6 modelers), and two standard 9V outputs with adjustable battery Sag control for transistor fuzz and octave circuits that thrive on that sagging-battery feel. Since every output is fully isolated, you can also combine two outputs to build custom 18V or 24V supplies for pedals like certain MXR flangers or EHX units such as the Deluxe Memory Man.
- Six 5.5×2.1mm right angle barrel connectors
- Two 5.5×2.1mm straight barrel connectors
- One 5.5×2.5mm red barrel connector for Line 6
- One 3.5mm mini plug for vintage MXR/EHX
- One 9V battery snap
Built for players who need their board silent and their low end untouched.
