Description
Long sets mean long hours with a strap doing the heavy lifting, and this Ernie Ball 4149 is made for exactly that. The 2″ width spreads the weight of your bass across your shoulder instead of letting it bite in, which matters whether you’re playing a lightweight P-Bass or hauling around something heavier.
The black and white checkered jacquard pattern gives you some visual flair on stage without going over the top, and it pairs with just about any bass finish. Where it really earns its keep, though, is at the ends: quality brown leather tabs are machine-stitched on for serious pull-strength, with the EB logo stamped in gold print for a clean finishing touch.
Ernie Ball also skipped the cheap metal hardware here, going with a black Delrin buckle and connector instead. That means no rust, no corrosion, and no scratched-up strap buttons over years of use – just smooth adjustment every time you need to lengthen or shorten it.
- 2″ wide checkered jacquard design
- Machine-stitched brown leather ends with gold-stamped EB logo
- Black Delrin adjustable buckle and connector
- Adjustable length from 41″ to 72″
Grab a couple as gig-bag backups too – at this size, they’re an easy stocking stuffer that any bassist will actually use.
