Description
The Bassbreaker 30R takes the supercharged distortion and roomy reverb that made the Bassbreaker 15 a favorite and scales it up with real channel switching. That means you get dedicated, independently voiced clean and distorted tones instead of stacking gain on top of a single circuit — flip between them on the fly, and dial each one exactly how you want it.
Under the hood, a pair of EL84 tubes drives the tone, capable of shimmering clean headroom on one end and thick, fiery midrange crunch on the other. The amp tracks pick attack closely, so dynamics from your hands come through whether you’re sitting in mid-gain territory or pushing into high-gain saturation. A built-in effects loop lets you slot time-based or modulation pedals in after the preamp stage, keeping your distortion tight and your delays/reverbs clean.
Tone comes out through a single 12″ Celestion V-Type speaker, loaded into a combo cabinet sized for easy transport — small enough to haul into a practice space or load into a van for a gig without a second thought, but with enough output at 30 watts to hold its own on stage.
