Description
Some bass amps chase clean headroom, others chase grit. The Rumble 500 V3 gives you both without forcing a compromise. Fender rebuilt the Rumble line to be lighter in your hands and heavier in the room, and this 500-watt combo is the proof: two 10″ Eminence-designed drivers plus a compression tweeter push real low-end authority through a cabinet that still loads into a hatchback without a struggle.
The tone-shaping is built for players who actually tweak knobs mid-set. Bass, low-mid, high-mid, and treble give you real separation instead of a single scoop dial, while the Bright, Contour, and Vintage voicing switches let you jump from modern punch to old-school thump on the fly. The overdrive circuit is foot-switchable, so you can sit clean in the verse and lean into growl for the chorus without taking a hand off the bass. A tweeter on/off switch keeps the top end from getting harsh in smaller rooms.
Practical touches matter on gig nights, and Fender covered them: a 1/4″ effects loop for outboard gear, an XLR line out with ground lift for going direct to the board, a 1/8″ aux input for practicing along to tracks, and a headphone jack for silent late-night runs.
