Description
Left-handed bassists know the frustration of settling for “close enough.” This isn’t that. The Player Precision Bass Left-Handed is a proper mirror-build of Fender’s most iconic low-end machine, delivering the same growling, punchy voice that’s anchored recordings for decades—now built correctly for players who lead with the other hand.
At the heart of it sits the Player Series Alnico 5 split single-coil pickup, tuned for that fat, aggressive P-Bass push that cuts through a mix without needing to be babied by a sound engineer. Master volume and tone knobs sit right where your hand expects them, letting you dial in growl or warmth on the fly between songs.
The alder body wears a gloss polyester finish in Black, paired with a Modern “C”-shaped maple neck that feels quick and familiar under the fretting hand. A 9.5″ fingerboard radius and 20 medium-jumbo frets keep things comfortable whether you’re locking into a groove or reaching for higher register fills. The 4-saddle bridge gives you real control over intonation and action, so you can set the bass up exactly how you like to dig in.
Small details add up to a bass that feels finished, not just functional: a synthetic bone nut, vintage-style string trees, open-gear tuners, and the four-bolt “F”-stamped neck plate that’s been a quiet mark of authenticity on Fender basses for generations.
