Description
Left-handed bassists know the struggle of finding gear that isn’t an afterthought. This Player Series Jazz Bass flips the script — a full-featured, road-ready instrument built specifically for you, not just a righty model turned upside down.
Two Player Series Alnico 5 single-coil pickups deliver that unmistakable Jazz Bass snarl: tight, punchy low end with a growl that cuts through a mix without fighting the guitars. Independent volume controls for each pickup plus a master tone knob put the classic in-between funk tones and full-bridge grind right at your fingertips, letting you dial in everything from thumping reggae lines to aggressive rock and slap tones.
The alder body wears a gloss polyester Black finish, paired with a Modern “C”-shaped maple neck that’s fast and comfortable under the hand — satin on the back, gloss up front where your thumb rides. A 9.5″ radius maple fingerboard with 20 medium-jumbo frets keeps the action low and playable, whether you’re locked into a groove or reaching for higher register runs. The 4-saddle bridge gives you straightforward intonation and action adjustments so you can set it up exactly how you like it.
Small details add up to real playability: a synthetic bone nut, vintage-style string trees, open-gear tuners, and the classic 4-bolt “F”-stamped neck plate that’s been a Fender hallmark for generations. This is a bass built to earn its keep in the studio and on stage, night after night.
