Description
Bassists have leaned on GK’s MicroBass line for years because it does the one thing that matters most: it sounds like a real bass rig, not a compromise. This MB112-II keeps that reputation intact, packing 200 watts into a single 12″ combo that weighs just 30 lbs. You get real headroom for punchy fingerstyle lines and enough clarity to keep a slap tone from turning to mush, all in a box you can carry with one arm to the car.
The digital power amp stays tight under pressure, and the four-band active EQ gives you enough control to dial in anything from a vintage thump to a modern, scooped attack. Need more low end for a bigger room? Pair it with the 112MBX extension cabinet and this little combo turns into a genuinely large-sounding rig without adding a second trip to the van.
Routing is built for real gig situations – XLR direct out for the board, chain out if you’re running an extension cab, aux in for practicing along with tracks, and a headphone output for late-night woodshedding. Contour on/off lets you switch between a scooped live tone and a flatter response for recording, and the tolex covering is ready to take the abuse of load-in after load-in.
