The 35″ scale length and 12″-16″ compound radius rosewood fingerboard give you room to dig in low while keeping bends and fast runs comfortable up high. 24 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays make this thing as fun to look at as it is to play, and the white binding around the neck and headstock adds a sharp visual pop against the metallic black finish.
Tone-wise, Jackson’s dual high-output humbucking pickups deliver a thick, growling low-end that cuts through a mix without turning muddy. Two independent volume controls let you blend the neck and bridge pickups exactly how you want, and the active three-band EQ hands you real control over bass, mid, and treble so you can shape your sound on the fly, whether you’re locking in with a drummer or cutting loose on a solo.
A high mass bridge keeps everything locked in tight, adding sustain and low-end punch while Jackson’s sealed die-cast tuners keep you in tune through the whole set.
