Seymour Duncan built the Quarter Pound PJ set specifically for players running a P-pickup in the bridge and a Jazz-style pickup up at the neck, giving you both flavors of the Quarter Pound sound in one package.
The P-bass pickup uses oversized magnets to widen the magnetic aperture, which pulls more low-mid meat and punch out of the strings than a standard P pickup. Expect a fat, aggressive fundamental with real mid-range push — the kind of tone that cuts through a loud stage without needing a ton of EQ help.
