Description
Every bassist who’s run a SansAmp VT Bass knows the tone: thick, warm, unmistakably analog. The Deluxe takes that same all-analog signal path and adds something gigging players will actually use — digital preset recall. Six program slots mean you can dial in your clean vintage growl, your gritty overdrive, and your full-on crushing distortion, then jump between them with a double-click of the footswitch. No manual required, no scrambling between songs.
Dual inputs let two basses stay plugged in and ready simultaneously — split three presets to each instrument, or dedicate the full bank of six to a single bass with multiple tonal personalities. You can even program the FX loop to kick in automatically on specific presets, so your favorite outboard effect shows up exactly when you want it and disappears when you don’t.
Under the hood it’s still a serious Pre-Amp and DI, which means front-of-house gets a clean, professional signal straight from your board, no separate DI box needed. Power it with phantom power, a standard 9V alkaline battery (not included), or Tech 21’s own DC4-A supply (the older DC2 also works if you’ve got one lying around).
