Geddy Lee wanted less gear cluttering his rig for new projects, so he teamed up with Tech 21 to build a signature rackmount SansAmp, the GED-2112 — cramming a mountain of tone-shaping equipment into one rack unit. Tech 21 didn’t stop there. They took that same collaboration and shrunk it further into a pedal, giving you the SansAmp YYZ: Geddy’s signature growl and clarity in a footprint that fits on your board, not your rack.
Because it runs on all-analog SansAmp circuitry, the YYZ isn’t locked into one job. Track direct in the studio, sweeten tracks you’ve already recorded, or take it to the stage where it can drive a power amp and cab on its own, sit in front of your existing amp, or run straight into the PA.
