The SVT-410HLF is Ampeg’s answer for bassists who want the punch and clarity of a classic 4×10 but crave more bottom than a standard four-ten usually gives up. Ampeg extended the low-frequency range on this cab so you get a surprisingly deep, full low end that flirts with 15-inch territory — no extra cabinet required, no extra weight to carry beyond what’s already here.
Four 10-inch drivers handle the meat of your tone, paired with a horn/driver for top-end sizzle and note definition that cuts through a busy mix. That horn is protected by a resistive bulb wired in series, so you can dial in your treble without worrying about frying the tweeter on a hot night. A variable level attenuator lets you tame or open up the highs to match the room or your rig.
Hookup is straightforward with dual Neutrik Speak-On and 1/4″ jacks, so you’re covered whether you’re running one amp or chaining cabs.
