Ampeg rebuilt the whole BA line from the ground up, and this one keeps that classic growl and low-end thump you’d expect from the name, without needing a dolly to move it.
A 60° tilt-back monitor angle throws the sound up toward your ears instead of your shins, which matters a lot when you’re standing right on top of an 8″ speaker. That means better clarity for dialing in tone, whether you’re working out a part at home or using it as a personal monitor at a low-volume gig.
Under the hood you get an integrated DI and effects loop — features you don’t usually see on an amp this size — so it can slot into a rehearsal setup or a small stage without extra gear. The chassis is steel, the covering is double-thick Tolex, and the corners are metal, so it survives being tossed in the trunk between practices.
