For gigging bassists, the standout feature is the second output. Most setups run through an external DI box to split the signal for the PA — the BB-1X builds a balanced Line Out right into the pedal, and BOSS didn’t just wire it up as an afterthought. Working with touring bassists and FOH engineers, they tuned this output separately from the main OUTPUT jack so what reaches the house system stays full and balanced across the band mix, rather than just dumping extra low end at the soundperson. You get your familiar stage tone through the amp, and a properly optimized DI feed heading to the PA or a recorder at the same time.
