Description
Some cabs just sound like bass. The PF-410HLF is one of them. Ampeg took the classic Portaflex look and low-end pedigree and packed it into a shelf-ported 4×10 that’s ready to sit under any high-headroom amp head you throw at it. Four ceramic Eminence 10″ drivers do the heavy lifting, pushing 800W RMS at 8 ohms with a frequency response of 55Hz-17kHz, so your low B doesn’t just rumble — it fills the room.
Up top, a 1″ HF compression driver with an L-pad level control lets you dial in the top-end sparkle without losing warmth in the mids. The shelf port design adds extra low-frequency extension, which means punch and depth without a boomy, undefined bottom. At 101 dB SPL sensitivity, this cabinet gets loud with less strain on your amp, which your gear (and your back) will thank you for.
It looks the part too — black diamond tolex and vintage B-15 grille cloth give it that unmistakable Portaflex heritage vibe, while the 15mm poplar ply construction keeps it rugged for van loads and stage abuse alike. Integrated side handles and removable casters make load-in and load-out far less of a chore.
