Description
Fretless tone lives and dies in the mids and low-mid growl, and Bartolini’s HR-4.6AP/918FL harness gives you the shaping tools to dial that in without spending your weekend hunched over a soldering iron. This is a fully pre-wired harness — pots, switches, and Bartolini’s respected 3-band preamp all hooked up and ready to drop into your control cavity.
The layout is built specifically with fretless in mind. One control hole handles Volume, with an active/passive push-pull switch baked right in so you can kill the preamp and go straight passive when the gig or the song calls for it — plus a Blend knob for fretless pickup blending. The second hole gives you a stacked Treble/Bass knob along with Mid control, and that Mid stack includes a push-pull for two frequency options, so you can chase that vocal-like fretless mid without fighting a static EQ curve.
Runs on 9V or 18V power, and the harness ships ready for either — a second battery clip is included for players who want to go 18V for more headroom and clarity. You also get wiring instructions plus black ring and center knobs for the tone stack.
