Description
If your bass has an odd, angular silhouette, you know regular cases just don’t cut it. The Coffin Cases 300VXBK is built specifically for those outlier shapes — designed around extreme guitar bodies like Flying Vs, Explorers, BC Rich Beast and Kerry King V, plus ESP and Schecter V styles — but it fits certain extreme-shaped basses too, which makes it a solid option if your low-end instrument doesn’t play nice with standard case geometry.
Inside, a diamond-tucked red velvet interior cradles your instrument with a shock-resistant pillow lining, so the neck and body stay protected through van rides, load-ins, and the general chaos of gig life. The shell itself is multi-ply wood construction wrapped in thick, road-resistant black PVC — built to take abuse and keep looking road-worn rather than beat up.
There’s a roomy trunk compartment reinforced with wood cross bracing for cables, pedals, straps, or whatever else you’re hauling to the show. Hardware is all-black steel, finished off with black accent stitching and five drawbar latches to keep everything locked down tight between sets.
