Description
Heavy basses need more than a friction fit at the shoulder, and DiMarzio built the ClipLock system specifically for that job. Instead of just hanging on button friction, the strap ends bolt straight into your bass body using two brass bushings and included long screws, then lock onto the strap via tough black plastic clips. Pop it off with a light squeeze of the fingertips when you’re done, and swap it to another instrument in seconds.
At 80mm wide, this is the beefed-up version of DiMarzio’s original ClipLock design, made to spread the weight of a heavy bass across more shoulder area so you’re not fighting fatigue by the third set. The nylon webbing is the same seatbelt-grade material used in cars, rated to hold well over 150 lbs, yet the release stays light and one-handed.
