Description
Drop tunings expose weak strings fast — they go dead, wander out of tune, and lose the low-end punch you dropped down to get in the first place. DR built the DDT set to fix exactly that problem. These are stainless steel bass strings with a hexagonal core wire reinforced by DR’s Accurate Core Technology (ACT), which fills in imperfections along the core so the string tracks true from the moment you tune it, even at lower pitches.
What you’ll actually notice on the gig: minimal re-tuning after the initial settle-in, a low B or dropped D that stays solid instead of flabby, and intonation that holds up night after night instead of drifting the way lesser drop-tuning strings do.
