Description
Every bassist ends up chasing two tones in the same set — the fat, clean foundation and the gritty, driven edge. The EBS MicroBass II gives you both on tap, using the same tube emulation circuitry found in EBS’s professional bass heads. Channel A and Channel B can be voiced completely differently, from polished solid-state clarity to a burning, distorted growl, and a footswitch lets you jump between them mid-song without breaking stride.
Beyond the two channels, this pedal is built like a small mixing station for your rig. A built-in effects loop lets you patch in other pedals or blend in a CD player for rehearsal, while the balanced DI output with a switchable speaker simulator means you can go straight to the board in a live room or a studio without hauling a cab. You get dedicated controls for bass, treble, a sweepable midrange, plus bright and edge filters for shaping your top end, along with drive and effects mix knobs. A headphone output, low battery indicator, and link/master outs round out the practical side.
