Rather than adapting a guitar comp for four (or five, or six) strings, this pedal was designed from the ground up around the huge dynamic swings and deep frequency content that come off a bass. The result is a compressor that actually reacts the way you want it to — whether you’re just evening out your attack so notes sit right in the mix, or driving it hard for that thick, squeezed, endless-sustain tone.
Input sensitivity runs from -10 dBu to +2 dBu, so it locks in properly with passive or active basses regardless of output level — no guessing, no gain-staging headaches. Dial in up to 21 dB of gain reduction, and the built-in make-up gain brings your signal right back to full volume even at max squash. A three-way attack toggle (Fast, Medium, Slow) lets you shape exactly how quickly compression kicks in, which matters a lot when you’re chasing a specific pick or finger-style feel.
