Description
This is the Jazz Bass for bassists who refuse to be boxed into one sound. The Deluxe Active Jazz Bass keeps that iconic double-cutaway silhouette and legendary mid-forward growl, then arms it with active electronics so you can sculpt your low end to fit whatever the gig demands — funk pocket, rock drive, or studio-clean fingerstyle.
Under the hood, two Vintage Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups give you that classic snarl without the 60-cycle hum fighting you at rehearsal. Flip the active/passive switch and you’re instantly moving between vintage-voiced simplicity and a full three-band EQ (treble, mid, bass boost/cut) that lets you carve out room in a dense mix or push a fatter, seismic low end when the song calls for it.
The satin-finished maple neck wears a comfortable “C” profile with a Pau Ferro fingerboard, 12″ radius, and medium jumbo frets — fast under the hand and easy to dig into for long sets. A four-saddle HiMass bridge adds real weight to the equation, locking in sustain, intonation, and tuning stability so your notes stay solid from the first downbeat to the last encore. A four-bolt asymmetrical neck plate rounds out the build with Fender’s attention to feel and ergonomics.
Finished in Olympic White with a black/white/black pickguard and pearloid dot inlays, this one looks as clean under stage lights as it sounds through the PA. This unit is a demo model and ships with a deluxe gig bag.
