Description
The Rumble 200 (V3) is built for bassists who need honest volume and low-end punch without hauling around a fridge. Fender re-engineered this Rumble from the ground up, so it’s lighter than older combos while pushing more power to the room. At its core sits a single 15″ Eminence ceramic magnet speaker paired with a premium HF compression tweeter, giving you a full, round low end with enough top-end clarity to cut through a mix.
Power comes from a Class-D amp rated at 140 watts into the internal 8-ohm speaker, jumping to 200 watts at 4 ohms when you add an extension cabinet for bigger stages. A single channel keeps things simple onstage, but you’re not short on tone-shaping tools: Bass, Low-Mid, High-Mid, and Treble controls sit alongside Bright, Contour, and Vintage voicing switches, so you can dial in anything from a modern, aggressive growl to a warmer vintage thump. A foot-switchable overdrive circuit (with Gain, Drive, and Level controls) lets you kick in grit on command without touching the amp mid-song.
Practical extras matter on a gig, and Fender didn’t skip them: a 1/4″ effects loop, 1/8″ stereo aux input for practicing along to tracks, an 1/8″ stereo headphone jack for silent woodshedding, and a balanced XLR line out with ground lift for going direct to a PA or recording rig.
