Description
Forget generic 10-inch drivers — GK built these from scratch for the CX210, with edge-wound aluminum 2″ voice coils manufactured right in the GK USA factory. The result is a punch and efficiency you don’t expect from 10s, the kind of articulate low-mid growl that cuts through a mix without needing to crank the whole rig.
Each speaker lives in its own isolated chamber, so you’re not fighting standing waves or losing tone through cabinet leakage. GK’s engineers tuned the port specifically for these drivers, pairing it with a jute-blend damping material to keep the response controlled at the frequencies that matter — no boominess, no flab.
On the practical side, this cab was clearly designed by people who actually load gear into vans. The Sure Lock foot-and-corner system keeps stacked cabs locked together on stage, tough vinyl covering with metal corner protection shrugs off load-in abuse, and flip-grip side handles plus a compact plywood build make it genuinely easy to carry. A three-position tweeter attenuator lets you dial in top-end sparkle to taste, and you’ve got both a pro twist-lock speaker connector and a standard 1/4″ input for flexible hookups.
