GK built the Fusion S Series to give bassists the best of both worlds: the growl and harmonic richness of tube preamp circuitry paired with the tight, fast response of their Class D power section. The Fusion 800S runs three 12AX7 tubes in the preamp, and for the first time in GK history, one of them is dedicated entirely to a foot-switchable overdrive channel with its own tone control (footswitch included). Dig in and you’ll feel the drive respond to your touch, not just a fixed distortion setting.
