The basswood body keeps things light on the shoulder while still letting the tone breathe, and the bolt-on maple neck adds snap and definition to every note. The 12″ radius laurel fingerboard is fast and forgiving, with 20 medium jumbo frets and simple dot inlays that keep your eyes on the crowd, not the neck.
Tone comes from a pair of Gretsch single-coil bass pickups, wired to a three-position toggle switch with master volume and master tone. Flip between pickups or blend them to dial in everything from thick, growly rock tones to punchier, more articulate lines — all without reaching for a pedal.
Rounding it out: a four-saddle adjustable bridge for solid intonation, a synthetic bone nut, and reliable die-cast tuners that hold pitch through sweaty sets.
