Under the hood, passive Bartolini BH2 pickups drive Ibanez’s Custom Electronics 3-band EQ, complete with an EQ bypass switch and a 3-way mid-frequency switch. That means you can go from a clean passive tone to a scooped, aggressive slap voice to a punchy, mid-forward pocket sound without touching another instrument. The Jatoba fretboard with abalone oval inlays feels smooth under fast lines, and 24 medium frets give you real range up the neck for solos or high-register fills.
