Low B strings, high-gain fuzz, and noisy preamps don’t mix well — and that’s exactly the problem the DECI-MATE G is built to solve. This is the full Decimator G circuit, complete with ISP’s patent-pending tracking improvements, squeezed into a micro pedal footprint so it earns its spot on even the most packed bass board.
Unlike a standard noise gate with a single release knob you’re stuck compromising on, the DECI-MATE G uses adaptive release response. It reads the envelope of your signal in real time, so a fast staccato slap gets cut clean while a long, sustained low note rings out smoothly without getting chopped or modulated as it decays. That’s thanks to ISP’s Decimator X technology and its new Time Vector Integration approach, which keeps sustained notes transparent instead of fluttering as they fade.
Because it tracks the direct output of your bass rather than reacting downstream of your gain stages, the noise floor stays consistent even when you stomp between a clean tone and a saturated overdrive. That means you set the threshold once and stop touching it — no re-dialing every time you change gain settings mid-set.
The pedal includes a loop (via 3.5mm TRS, with the breakout patch cable included) so you can route your noisiest high-gain or fuzz pedals through it, or tie into a series effects loop on your bass amp to quiet down preamp hiss too. It’s an all-analog design, so there’s no digital artifacts or aliasing creeping into your tone — just a quieter rig that still sounds like you.
