Bass players at LR Baggs built the Stadium DI for their own rigs, then decided the rest of us needed it too. It’s an all-discrete signal path loaded with hand-picked components, so whether you’re running straight into the board or shaping your tone on the fly, the fidelity holds up against DIs costing way more.
- Growl – This isn’t a blanket distortion. It targets the low frequencies specifically, thickening up your tone with harmonic overtones while staying touch-responsive. Dig in and it bites back a little; play soft and it stays smooth. Hit the paired Drive button when you want it to open up into full-range overdrive.
- Comp EQ – Three bands of touch-sensitive compression across low, mid, and high frequencies. It reacts to your dynamics in real time, evening things out without flattening your feel.
- Attack – A focused EQ sweep for dialing between warm, muted jazz-bass tones and a punchier, clearer attack—whatever the gig calls for.
Beyond the tone shaping, this thing is built for real gigs: a Fat switch boosts 150Hz by +3dB or +6dB for extra low-end body, a VU meter helps you optimize gain for passive or active pickups, and the Pad control adjusts XLR output between -10dBV or +4dBu to match whatever PA you’re plugged into. Power it via 48V phantom, a 9V battery, or 9V DC. A ground lift switch keeps hum out of the equation, and the aluminum, steel, and ABS enclosure is made to survive van rides and stage abuse. Hand-assembled in California.
This unit is open box and in mint condition, includes the custom LR Baggs carrying case, and is ready to go straight into your rig.
