Description

Some gigs don’t have room for a rig, and some sessions don’t have time for miking a cab. The MayFly Sunset solves both problems by putting a full analog bass amp simulator on your board — no latency, no digital modeling artifacts, just real analog circuitry standing in for your amp.

The EQ section is where this pedal earns its keep. You get standard Bass and Treble knobs alongside an active parametric Midrange with both level and frequency sweep, so you can carve out exactly where your low mids sit. Presence handles the extreme top end, Resonance digs into the deep low end, and the Gain knob lets you decide how much tube-style compression and harmonic bite creeps in as you dig into the strings — subtle when it’s low, thick and saturated when you push it.

A Master volume sets your overall output, and you’ve got both 1/4″ and XLR outs, so it’s equally at home running to a monitor wedge, a PA snake, or straight into an interface. The high-impedance input plays nicely with passive or active pickups, and full bypass means it stays out of your way when you don’t need it.
