Description
If you’ve ever loved the sound of an envelope filter but hated how it thinned out your low B, the MXR M82 solves that problem with a dedicated Dry control. Blend your clean signal against the filtered effect independently, so the funk stays on top while the foundation stays solid underneath.
- Separate Dry and Effect knobs for full control over how much filter character sits on top of your unaffected tone
- Decay and Q controls to shape the sweep, from tight and snappy to long and vocal
- Sensitivity knob that adapts the filter’s response to your picking or plucking attack, and compensates for passive or active bass output
- True-bypass switching so the pedal disappears from your signal path when it’s off
- Rugged aluminum enclosure in the compact Phase 90 footprint – easy on pedalboard real estate
- Overvoltage and reverse-polarity protected power circuit
Runs on a Dunlop ECB003 AC adapter or a single 9-volt battery (neither included). This is a used unit pulled from our demo gear rotation – fully functional and ready to add some analog quack to your bass rig, whether you’re chasing Bootsy-style funk lines or just want a filter that respects your low end.
