The Peavey PV-1 is a single-channel diversity wireless system built for players who want reliable signal transmission without babysitting a transmitter for dropouts or dead spots. This unit runs on the VHF band at 178.150 MHz, giving you a dedicated frequency to work with on stage or in the studio.
For bass players especially, a wireless system lives or dies on whether it preserves the bottom end — you don’t want your low B turning to mush the second you unplug the cable. The PV-1’s diversity design is meant to keep the connection stable as you move around, which matters a lot more when you’re anchoring the rhythm section than when you’re just noodling near the amp.
Peavey built the PV-1 line with flexibility in mind. Beyond the guitar/bass version, hand held, lavalier, and headset models are also offered across three separate frequencies, so a full band or venue can run multiple wireless rigs side-by-side without frequency conflicts.
