Description
The Hellraiser Extreme-4 is Schecter’s answer to bassists who want dark aesthetics backed up by serious tonal firepower. Its neck-thru mahogany body with a quilted maple top (finished in See-Thru Black Satin) sustains for days, while the Ultra Access construction means those upper frets are actually reachable when you need to dig in.
- Maple/walnut multi-ply neck with an ebony fretboard, 24 X-Jumbo frets, and a Thin ‘C’ profile that lets your fretting hand move fast
- MOP Gothic Cross inlays and MOP/BLK/WHT/BLK multi-ply binding for that unmistakable Hellraiser look
- Dual EMG 35TW pickups run through an active 3-band EQ, with push-pull volume controls for coil-tap versatility — full humbucker growl or a snappier single-coil bite, on demand
- Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut, Schecter custom string-thru/top-load bridge, and smooth Grover tuners for rock-solid tuning stability
- 34″ scale, 16″ fretboard radius, black chrome hardware, ships strung with Ernie Ball Super Long #2849 (.045-.105) strings
This one’s built in South Korea to Schecter’s spec and it shows — the extended-range EMGs and active EQ give you the low-mid punch for metal and the clarity for anything that needs a bass that cuts through a dense mix.
