Description
The J-4 takes the familiar Jazz-style formula and runs it through Schecter’s own playbook. An alder body under a Gloss Black finish keeps the tone open and punchy, while the bolt-on maple neck with a Thin ‘C’ profile and 34″ scale gives you a fast, low-effort feel whether you’re walking lines or digging into a slap groove.
Rosewood board, 21 narrow X-Jumbo frets, and a 16″ radius mean chords and upper-register lines stay comfortable, and the Graph Tech XL Ivory Tusq nut keeps tuning stable string to string. Twin Schecter USA MonsterTone-J pickups deliver that scooped-mid, growly J-bass character, and the push-pull tone knob unlocks coil-tap for a leaner, more focused single-coil voice when you need it — one bass, two attitudes.
